Peterborough Speedway September 24

The racing season continues at Canada’s Toughest 1/3 Mile Oval.

The Parry Springs Renegade Trucks put on a great show tonight with Andy McCann (12) coming into tonight with the points lead, but it was #30 of Ross Evans taking the Checkerd Flag.

Battlefield Equipment 4Funs battled it out on the track with the second appearance of the #99 Chris Mulders in victory lane.

The Hurricane Midgets took to the track to churn up a storm with Brian Woodland (#48) coming in to tonight with the points lead. Woodland proved to everyone why he’s headed for a championship with another Victory.

One of the most competitive series in Ontario is the Peterborough Hyundai Mini Stocks with Daryl Fice leading the points with Tyler Junkin close behind.  That margin just got a whole lot smaller with Junkin posting another knotch in the win category for the feature race.

The Peterborough Speedway Late Models saw the return of last year’s Champion #54 Randy Bull, but the fastest car of the night was the #53x of Kyle Donaldson, taking an impressive lead and taking home another Checker Flag.

To end the night with a Bang… Literally!  The 100 Lap enduro race kept the crowd excited,  with Clayton Pedersen (#20) taking another victory in the 8 Cylinder class with the #401 of Tyler Junking taking his second victory of the night in the 4/6 Cylinder class.

One More race night next Saturday before the 19th running of the Autumn Colours Classic on Thanksgiving weekend.  See you at the races.
