Peterborough Hyundai Ministock Twin 25’s and More on 28 May 2011

Tonight the Peterborough Hyundai Ministock twin 25’s promised to be exciting, given the battles fought on the track here at Canada’s Fastest & Toughest 1/3rd Mile Oval, and there was no disappointment here.

Starting off it was the Return of the Lucas Oil Legends series to Peterborough Speedway, with 2 time series champion Adam Cuthbertson (#79) donating the trophy from his last visit to his favorite track to the most exciting young race fan. Setting the stage for Cuthbertson to both of his heats and race to an amazing finish with (24) Andy Warbutton to win another trophy to be donated to to a young fan next week.

The Parry Springs Renegade Trucks returned with Stephen Bierworth stepping into the #12 of Andy McCann, but it was Rick Edgerton winning both heats and the 15 lap feature.

The Action heated up with the Battlefield 4Fun’s with the 34 of @[565106380:Kevin Strutt] winning the first heat, Mike Gilbert (30) winning his 2nd heat, but it was the #19 of @[604355408:Ember Junkin] parking the pink stripe in winners circle.

That was not the end of the Junkin winning streak, as @[515280248:Tyler Junkin] (#41) parked his Tripp’s Auto Recyclers sponsored Peterborough Hyundai Mini Stock in victory lane for the 1st of the twin 25’s with the Don Butt Auto Body sponsored #44 of @[858490181:Daryl Fice] in 2nd. But Fice also won both of his heats setting up a run for the top spot for the 2nd of the Twin 25’s. Wanting to redeem the win he felt he should have had last week, (44) Fice drove a hard race all night, parking is #44 Pontiac in victory lane at the end of the night and winning the Twin 25’s over all.

That’s the way we saw it, come see for your self next Satruday at Canada’s Fastest and Toughest 1/3rd Mile Oval.
