Get Your Hands on the Hottest Motorsports Ticket in Central Ontario

What started off as barely a whisper can now be heard at a volume level previously reserved for rock concert sound systems. The most-anticipated show of the 2022 schedule is just over a week away and if there has ever a must-see event on the calendar, this one is it.

Peterborough Speedway staff is thrilled to confirm that for the first time since the 2018 season, the APC Pro Late Model Series will return to Canada’s Toughest 3rd Mile Oval Saturday, June 18th. And this time, they’re bringing along their racing cousins in the Qwick Wick Firestarter Super Stock tour. Don’t wait to hear about it from your friends. Make sure you see it for yourself.

Hurry to www.eventsprout.com/event/peterborough-speedway-june-18th-2022 to order your advance tickets for this outstanding racing experience. In addition to 100 laps for the APC Pro Late Model teams and a 50 lap feature tilt for the Qwick Wick Super Stock runners, the KOD Disposal presented show will also include support from the home track Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock and Trent Lakes Complete Plumbing Renegade Truck divisions.

“We’re expecting one of the bigger; if not the biggest Saturday night crowd of this year’s regular season,” offered Peterborough Speedway track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse. “Fans are advised to act fast to avoid the disappointment of missing this event.”

Even though the tight, tricky bullring on Mount Pleasant Road has hosted the APC Pro Late Model Series on 4 different occasions in the past, there have only been a couple of main event winners. Shawn Chenoweth took the checkered flags in 2015 and 2016, with Brandon Watson – who is a now a regular with the NASCAR Pinty’s Series – claiming victories in 2017 and 2018. Teams with the Qwick Wick Firestarter Super Stock tour have logged just a single start, with Carson Nagy taking the 2021 win.

Peterborough Speedway alumni will play a prominent role in the starting line-up for each division. On the Pro Late Model side of the coin, former Autumn Colours Classic champion Ryan Kimball, Mini Stock graduate Danny Benedict and Connor James – who ran with the Canadian Legend Cars and OMRS Mods – are expected to be in the field. Reigning track title holder Anthony Dibello and another former home track runner Miles Tyson could join the Super Stock roster.
