Motorsports fans across Central Ontario are getting ready for the biggest campaign in the history of their favourite race place. Canada’s Toughest 3rd of a Mile Paved Oval is celebrating its 50th Anniversary season in 2017 and new supporters are stepping-up to the plate to be part of the excitement. When the green flag flies to kick-off the new schedule, the headline Late Model division at Peterborough Speedway will welcome a new title sponsor, as Organics and Glass joins the marketing partners. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says he’s happy to welcome a new business to the speedway’s sponsorship family.
“We’re celebrating half a century of action and this season has all the makings of a very exciting year for our fans and race teams,” Josiasse said. “There are some big things in the works behind the scenes and special announcements to come throughout the schedule. The opportunity to bring an exciting new sponsor like Organics and Glass into the fold is terrific news for the drivers in our Late Model division.”
With a selection of natural wellness products that include salt lamps, hot stones, lotions, creams and natural remedies, Organics and Glass – located in the Oshawa Centre – has been in business for 2 years and their friendly, professional staff can help with all your needs and answer any questions you may have. Fans will see Peterborough Speedway’s 5 weekly divisions, plus the Legends Series teams battle it out for opening night bragging rights.
Before the green flag waves, everyone can catch a piece of the 50th Anniversary excitement as the track will have displays at the Peterborough Home, Cottage and Country Show – March 31st to April 2nd – at the Evinrude Centre and at the Lindsay Square Mall, April 23rd through 30th.
