As the Coronavirus Pandemic forces change around the world, it’s the things that remain the same that create a stronger community and positive attitude. Even though the way they’re doing business has recently taken on a different look, the team at the Jiffy Lube location at 646 Reid Street in Peterborough remains committed to quality service with a professional attitude. Local owner-operator Albert Youssef says its all about maintaining a ‘business as usual’ focus.

“We’ve been a proud community partner since 1981,” Youssef explained. “During these difficult times, we’re happy to offer our customers several different package options to keep pace with their busy lives, including a Zero-Touch oil change where the customer remains in their vehicle during service. Staff is outfitted in personal protection equipment and a disinfecting process inside the store is now part of our housekeeping routine.”

Every warranty approved Jiffy Lube oil change features up to 6 litres of premium Pennzoil conventional or synthetic Motor Oil and an approved oil filter. Their checklist also includes complimentary windshield washer, differential, power steering fluid top-up and inspection/report of your vehicle’s vital components including external lights, wiper blades and  cabin air filter. Their staff is dedicated to your safety and keeping you on the road, with a final check of the vehicle’s tire pressure to the proper PSI. Undercoating and tire swap services are also available.

The initial green flag of the 2020 schedule may have been delayed by social distancing restrictions put in place by the provincial government, but Jiffy Lube is looking forward to another season as the title sponsor of the Mini Stock division at Peterborough Speedway. They advertise on a trackside sign, proudly support the annual Kid’s Race, in support of the Canadian National Autism Foundation and provide backing for local driver Victor Vowles, whose #53 machine finished 6th in last year’s Mini Stock championship standings at the popular Mount Pleasant Road venue.
