NEW POINTS STRUCTURE FOR 2007 For 2007 we have made a number of changes to how points are awarded including the drop night system. For the upcoming season the new format will work as follows. Drivers are permitted one drop night, drivers who have perfect attendance will receive 40 bonus points towards the year end points. In addition to the one drop night a driver will be permitted to use a substitute driver on one given night only and still earn those points. This substitute driver will also count towards a drivers perfect attendance and keep them eligible for the bonus points. Since a lot of seasons end up in extremely close point battles a substitute driver may not be used for the last three scheduled points nights.
