Peterborough Speedway Introduces Turn 4 Beer Garden for the 2023 Season

Hot racing action and a cool, refreshing beverage are the perfect summertime combination at Canada’s Toughest 3rd Mile Oval.

After multiple seasons of planning, the team at Peterborough Speedway is pleased to confirm that the track’s Turn 4 Licenced Beer Garden will make its long-anticipated debut at the Saturday, May 20th edition of the Pure Country 105 Season Opener. Track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse says he expects the new addition will be a popular attraction for fans.

“It is something we’ve looked at and have been talking about for years. Thanks to some support from the team at Labatt’s, it has come to fruition in time for the start of the 2023 season,” said J.P. Josiasse. “Product sales and service are restricted to those 19 years of age or older, with mandatory verification required. The Turn 4 Beer Garden is a designated zone adjacent to the 4th Turn spectator grandstand area.”

Josiasse says product – including Busch Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Corona – will be available. Peterborough Speedway’s new Turn 4 Beer Garden will also feature Mike’s Hard Iced Tea, Palm Bay Paradise and Mike’s Orange n’ Cream coolers and Nutri Grape seltzer.

“We are already home to the finest racetrack food in the province – including locally-sourced, fresh-cut fries and homestyle burgers, hot dogs and sausage – so the Turn 4 Beer Garden will serve to enhance the overall fan friendly motorsports experience.”

Don’t miss the excitement of this year’s lid-lifter at Central Ontario’s favourite place to race. The Pure Country 105 Season Opener, with free spectator grandstand admission – Saturday, May 20th – will see the gates open at 3:00 and the first green flag of the 2023 schedule at 5:00.
